But all the inf files are there.

Where did you find it? I've searched all content of. What I did was install the printers manually using the add printers wizard and then view the driver properties of the printer you've installed to figure out what files you are looking for. The problem is some of the printer drivers aren't available until you install a printer using the add printers wizard because they are downloaded from Microsoft when you require them.

If you take a look at the contents of the INF file above you will see that once you've installed this particular printer you can now use the inf file to install all of the printer models listed in the INF file using the command line printui.

I hope this makes sense. If you have any other questions I'd happy to share what I've found so far. I've been able to successfully script the install of all of my printers via command line at this point after manually installing the 1st one to get the driver files on my computer.

Is there not a simpler way to do this if you are installing from a print server which will prompt you for suggested driver if you run:. It will prompt you to Install suggested driver at this point Office Office Exchange Server. Not an IT pro? Can you help us improve?
