Press and hold the xfinity and Mute buttons together for five seconds until the light at the top changes from red to green. Type the first five-digit code for the TV manufacturer. If the remote light blinks green twice, the code is correct. If the remote light blinks red then green, the code is incorrect. Aim the remote at the TV, and press the Power button. If the TV doesn't turn off, try the next code. Activate the remote by removing the pull tab on the back.
Follow the on-screen instructions that come up on your TV to finish setup. Read the following steps before performing them.
Press the cable button at the top of the remote. This will clear any button pushes from memory. If you mess up on any of the following steps, press the exit button followed by the cable button and start back at step 3. Enter the first 5 digit code you wrote down into the keypad.
If it does not, Go back to 2 above on this page. Now, test your remote by pressing the TV or AUX button whichever one you programmed , and aiming it at your device. Then press the power button. If your device turns on and off as you press power on the remote, then you have successfully completed programming and should skip to step 5. If the remote does not operate the device, go back to 2 above on this page. OR of you have tried all the codes or you want to do this faster go to the next step.
Be sure to press the cable button to clear the remote. If you mess up any steps, press the exit button followed by the cable button and go back to 2.
Turn on your TV or other device by pressing its power button. Type into the keypad, NOT Press the power button and then aim the remote at your device.
Press the channel up button until the device turns off. Stop pressing immediately when the device turns off. Press the setup button to lock in the IR code. All these Xfinity voices and non-voice remotes required the 4 or 5 digits remote codes when programming.
There are no specific codes for smart and non-smart Samsung TVs. First of all, we need the Xfinity code when programming the remote control to the Samsung TV. You can use any one code from the list for the respective remote for Samsung TV.
If, the code you have selected not working or pairing the rmeote to Samsung TV, then try another code. Xfinity XR15 voice remote does not have a setup button.
